Come along for a full day workshop where you will learn a range of beginners skills in making jewellery.
What will you learn?
We will begin with getting to grips with the tools, the workshop and metals. You will make a ring to kick start.
Moving on to making a pair of stud and a pair of long earrings.
Rounding off the first day with making a lovely pendant.
As your jammed packed workshop comes to a close you will learn have learned how to file, sand and polish so that you go away with a ring, two pairs of earrings and a pendant that you have made. (A chain for your pendant is also included).
Who is this for?
This course is for complete beginners and those with a little experience who would like to make more jewellery. All participants must be over 18. It is for a maximum of 6 people so that you have the best tuition experience and access to tools.
What is provided?
Shannon will provide a printed course guide for you to keep.
We will be working in silver for all pieces but you will have copper to practice on as well. You will get to take home all the pieces you have made.
Light refreshments will be provided to keep you going through your lessons. Please bring a packed lunch. We will have a morning and afternoon break as well as 30 minutes for lunch.
