The perfect way to spend quality time, this workshop is designed for an adult and child to attend together as you learn all about needlework.

You’ll learn how to make a simple needlework bag, and explore some basic embroidery stitches for decorative finishes. Suitable for beginners, this workshop will be a great opportunity to learn new skills in a welcoming environment. All materials and patterns will be provided on the day. There will also be an opportunity to see some original examples from the museum’s collection for inspiration.

There are two dates available, and tickets cover the cost of one adult and one child.
