Tapestry Exhibition: Domestic Mythologies

Featured Image

Domestic Mythologies explores textile as a storytelling medium: tactile, personal and rooted in lived experience. Familiar through our homes, clothing and rituals of everyday life, textiles carry memory, labour and human touch. On first encounter, these works may appear playful, crafted or comforting, yet each artist shifts this often-domestic medium into the realm of contemporary art through unexpected materials, conceptual approaches and layered social histories.

Makers: Asha Murray, Niamh Coffey, Rebecca Tighe, Laura Angel
