“I’m Kelly, the potter of Bluebird Pottery Studio Killorglin Co Kerry.
I began my business journey with clay 18months ago with no inkling of what was to come.
After my initial Winter Course in Kinsale Co Cork,
I fell in love with the medium and was eager to continue exploring as a student member of the pottery school.
Through those months I retired from my 30yr career as a self employed Hairdresser and thought I would be diving into Massage & Reiki full time as I’m fully qualified also, but that was all at a stand still. For a Birthday gift my husband bought me a potter’s wheel. He saw my connection to clay, and I have to say I was shocked.
But that first month with my own wheel solidified that this was going to be part of my life for a very long time.”
