About the event
This is an embroidery workshop for all abilities. You will stitch your favourite season on a small wooden embroidery hoop.
The background fabric and colourful threads will be supplied. You will learn some basic stitches in a fun relaxed atmosphere. Your hoop will be finished off neatly at the back and ready to hang.
Everyone will bring home a stitched tree adorned with the colours and textures of their favourite season. You can start a second season if you’re a fast stitcher and maybe complete the entire year later yourself as a project for darker Autumn evenings!!

“I gave up a full-time art teaching position in 2020 to work full-time doing what I love. Nature is a huge inspiration for me. I love to draw attention to the small beautiful details of the natural world around me. Colour for me is joyful and uplifting and it is a huge element of everything I do. I love to see the people who attend my workshops catch the creative bug for clay or textiles. Creating with your hands is a wonderful experience and it’s great to see others enjoy it too!”
