HappiClose Pop Up Shop Dun Laoghaire will feature a range of HappiClose designs – handmade children’s clothes designed and made in Ireland. The designer Carol Fitzpatrick will be in attendance and will be available to answer questions about the background, design, source of fabrics, testing, making and finishing of HappiClose items.

“My designing career began late. It started 12 years ago when I was in my early sixties and had just retired from my career as a child and adolescent psychiatrist. My grandchildren were starting to arrive, and I wanted to make clothes for them which were easy to fit and fasten. I could not handle all those poppers and buttons! This led to the creation of HappiClose, designs which are easy to use and easy to wear.”
