About the event
This workshop is suitable for all abilities. You will learn to model a simple pair of birds.
Each bird will be shaped using two pinch pots attached together. You will be shown how to apply texture and further details if required.
The finished birds will be fired to stoneware temperature and suitable for outdoors. The pieces will be bisque fire and glaze afterward and they can be collected from the studio or posted at an extra cost to your address.
Your finished pieces can brighten up your patio, birdbath or outdoor space all winter long when there’s little colour remaining !!

“I gave up a full-time art teaching position in 2020 to work full-time doing what I love. Nature is a huge inspiration for me. I love to draw attention to the small beautiful details of the natural world around me. Colour for me is joyful and uplifting and it is a huge element of everything I do. I love to see the people who attend my workshops catch the creative bug for clay or textiles. Creating with your hands is a wonderful experience and it’s great to see others enjoy it too!”
