The Heart Lives Through The Hands: Furniture Exhibition
About the event
The Heart Lives Through The Hands is a celebration of works made by Cork based makers committed to creating exceptional, functional items, central to home-life. This dual site also features an information space where passersby can learn about Cork Craft & Design and enjoy demonstrations from our makers throughout the month.
A display featuring hand-turned craft pieces by members of the Cork Chapter of the Irish Woodturning Guild, a selection of furniture pieces by Cork Craft & Design members, and a pop-up from STAMP. STAMP is a brand new clustering arrangement between four Cork-based art, design and craft organisations – benchspace, Cork Craft & Design, Sample Studios and Shandon Art Studios – brought together under a shared brand identity by Cork City Council via the Cult-CreaTE European project
