Pieces for Peace

About the event

Workshop making quilts for refugee children.

Work on making blocks and quilt tops for the Pieces for Peace programme, which supports refugee children in Ireland with quilts. At this time, the makers are focussing on blue and yellow for Ukrainian kids. Mary Palmer will lead the class, providing block ideas and sashing and border fabrics for these very special quilts.

Some knowledge of patchwork techniques is necessary, but all levels are welcome.
