Crafting with Irish Fibre
About the event
See and experience the fibre crafts of hand spinning, natural dyeing, weaving, needle felting and wet felting. Demonstrations by makers Sandra King and Sandra Marschall. Visitors can see crafts using Irish wool and Irish alpaca fibres, and will also have a chance to try the craft of their choice.

This event is part of National Heritage Week.
“Irish Fibre Crafters is located in the village square of Ardrahan, county Galway, near the Wild Atlantic Way. Do come visit! You can watch us spin and weave, ask us questions, have a cup of coffee, enroll in a class or workshop for adults, or a ‘camp’ for children, browse beautiful creations from our fibre artists, and purchase Irish wool yarn and fibre crafts.”
