About the event
Art on the Rails is an art and craft fair with artisan and hot foods, live music, picnic benches and entertainment from the Glencraig Community Circus (11.30am-3pm)!
On August 28th, come and try a new craft with free taster sessions or talk to the artists whilst they demonstrate their skills.
Taster sessions include print workshop with Rosie Ennis, Spinning demonstration with Rosemary McCartney, Potters wheel taster sessions and demos with Alison Hanvey, Painting with Les Sharpe and Sarah Majury, Sculpt a bird with Sharon Regan. The fair will also have a range of free children’s craft activities all day.
The fair will also have a Bring and Buy corner where you can pick up second hand art and craft materials, perfect for home crafting.
This event is dog friendly.

About August Craft Month with Craft NI
This event is a part of August Craft Month with Craft NI, Northern Ireland’s celebration of craft. Summer 2022 will mark the 16th annual August Craft Month with makers all across Northern Ireland getting involved.
