An Introduction to Clay Molding and Casting

About the event

On Saturday 6th August from 2-4pm, multidisciplinary artist Steph Tanney will be running an introductory workshop on working with clay and plaster.

In this workshop the participants will be guided by Steph in the process of making a clay mold using textured paper, linen and plants. This mold will then be used to cast in plaster the images made and the participants will be able to take home their own piece of handmade artwork ready to hang on the wall at home.

Steph Tanney is an artist based in Whitehead who has a degree in Ceramics, a masters in Fine Art and a passion for helping people understand the joy of working with clay and plaster and uncovering their inner artistic potential.

Only eight spaces are available to be sure to book early to guarantee a space at this unique event.
