Tie Dye and Paint T-Shirt Workshop (2 day workshop)
Discover the art of tie-dye in the vintage revival workshop! Children will create a tie-dye t-shirt using a selection of resist techniques. This workshop will run over two mornings as children will also design and paint their own logo onto t-shirt as well. A fun project to create and wear.
Day 1 – 9 Aug – learn how to tie-dye t-shirt and leave in dye for to be dried to finish off- also work on design for front of t-shirt
10am-12pm
Day 2 – 12 Aug – paint on design on t-shirt to complete and take home
10am-12pm
NB. Plain white round neck and trimmed v neck t shirts are provided in a variety of sizes. However, if preferred, you can bring your own white t shirt in a high cotton-based material. Too much polyester or synthetic in fabric will not take the dye.
