Machine Quilting Workshop with Mary Palmer
Free Motion Quilting & Stitching
This workshop will be concentrating on the basic skills used for free motion quilting. Students will be working with their own sewing machines, learning how to stitch freehand patterns without templates or rulers.
The skills learned are transferable to other crafts using free motion stitching, drawing, embroidery and repairs.
Some comfort with a machine is necessary, but beginners are welcome.
Mary Palmer is an award winning quilt and textile artist based in Cork.
