CUP MAKING, pottery class
Make Your Own Cup 3hrs hand-building and decorating pottery class.
During the class, you will learn how to slab-build and slip-decorate a vessel.
We’ll start with 20mins presentation; the rest of the time is yours to get creative and enjoy the cup making and decorating process.
As everyone works at their own pace, some people prefer to spend the entire class refining one piece; for those who like to work faster there’s an opportunity to make another piece (eg. another cup, a planter, a plate).
All pieces will be dried, fired and glazed afterwards, and ready for collection or postage at extra cost within 4.
The class is suitable for all level students- from complete beginners upwards. It is a great way to experience the pleasures of working with clay, spend time relaxing and focusing on one very much ‘hands-on’ task.

The studio is wheelchair accessible (over a small step at the entrance) and one of the workstations is suitable for wheelchair users. Toilet on site/not wheelchair friendly. There are a few workstations with chairs provided, most of them are standing. All materials and tools provided. Please bring your own snacks and refreshments. Cancellations policy- we accept cancellations and provide full refund for cancellations made 2 weeks in advance of the class. Late cancellations and no-shows will not be refunded.
