Copperfish workshop / showroom visit
Workshop and showroom Open day.
At Copperfish we create lighting (and some furniture pieces) from ancient, historical Irish timbers.
With a 2 story commercial unit in Rathnew Co. Wicklow. Downstairs is awash with ancient timbers, and equally ancient machinery to cut it! Upstairs is our showroom where everything we make is on display.
We find that everyone who comes out to us loves the place. The smell of the old timbers and the stories of where they came from, whether that be the original bollards from the Belfast docks, or the oak crane arm used to lift the parrafin oil drums on to the Blasket Island Lighthouse.
