ASTRL Fibres Making Space: Coiled Basket Workshop
Making Space is a series of workshops that will encourage you to think with your hands, embrace a willingness to play, allow yourself the space to be creative and find connection in the act of making.
About this workshop: Join Alison of ASTRL Fibres and learn how to handcraft a beautiful coiled basket to take home with you. Over the course of this 2.5hr session, Alison will guide you through a beginners coiling and stitching technique using recycled cotton cord in a variety of colour options.

Who is this workshop for: This workshop is suitable for those looking to try a new handcraft and no previous experience is required. The session will be seated in a relaxed setting but the coiling technique is repetitive and some physical hand strength is required. You will need to be able to coil and stitch for the duration of the session.
Where: This in-person workshops will be held in the bright and tranquil ASTRL Fibres studio, a dedicated craft making space / 412 Woodstock Rd, Belfast BT6 9DQ
