Create your own timeless wardrobe staple – a classic shirt – in this workshop for beginners with Jane McCann
Those with a love of timeless clothing and with an interest in textiles, workwear with some basic experience in sewing / making. To produce a basic calico garment, with corresponding pattern, to represent a simple customised garment shape that will provide a basis for on-going style development.
The focus will be on an individual shirt pattern block for the participant, adaptable to different end-uses. The workshop will cover: An Introduction to the pattern development process, for the cutting of a basic but personalised shirt block: Front/ Back/ Sleeve and collar.
