About the event

The COTTAGE MAKERS SHARE is a monthly workshop series to support the ethos of putting Homemade, Homegrown and Handcrafted back into the heart of the community. Makers are invited to share their skills, allow visitors to experience their work and take home some new tips and ideas on market day. Clay artist Marlese Louw will introduce visitors to the the intriguing world of polymer clay. Participants will be guided in designing and creating their own piece of jewellery . Perfect for beginners of all ages.

The Cottage Market is open on Sunday August 6th from 11am to 4pm.

About the organiser

“The Cottage Market hosted in the fabulous grounds of St .Peters COI church presents an eclectic mix of stalls, 35 in all selling everything from Homemade breads cakes ,chutneys, confectionary & sauces, Home-grown veg , fruit , seedlings ,plants , and Hand crafted jewellery, ceramics ,willow work , organic skincare, upcycled furniture, candles, textile creations, glass ,copper and bespoke art and much more . A showcase of local produce and products has been created, a place for local people to display their talents and shine.

The Cottage Market is such a vibrant, eclectic and modern market, the vendors are fantastic. People love to view, touch, hold artwork ,taste locally grown and created food products and engage with their Makers . First Saturday of the month in St Peters Church of Ireland Parish hall and surrounds.”
