About the event
Meet the Maker and Clay Workshop – Leitrim Design House.
Day 1: Clay Workshop with Potter Bairbre Kennedy from Lichen Ceramics
Tuesday August 16th from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
All materials and tools will be supplied. Participants will learn the art of working with clay, exploring the technique of flatware, incorporating drape moulds and a variety of stamps.
Bairbre will guide participants in creating a wall plaque or wall hanging flower holder.
Day 2: Meet the Maker
Saturday August 20th from 2pm – 4pm.
Lukasz Jurgowiak from of Wood and Willow will demonstrate his unique skills in weaving willow and basket making. Viewers may also interact with the materials and try their hand at some of the techniques used throughout the afternoon.

There is disability access at the front of the building and access to toilets including a toilet for wheel chair users. There are 3 galleries, a cafe and wifi in the building
