Feltmaking a magic wand workshop for children
About the event
In this fun morning, children will learn the basics of wet-felting, the worlds oldest form of textile making.
An introduction to a very sensory craft, suitable for beginners.
Tamzen will introduce the group to the basics of wet-felting, then move on to felting around a pencil… those that love Harry Potter might know the character Rita Skeeter- who has a magic wand pencil… each student will go away with their own. There will be plenty of soapy bubbles, soft fibres, roll up your sleeves and rub a dub dub!
This workshop is taking place at The Purple Llama Market. Crafters include woodturning, pebbl-eart, patchwork, decoupage, jewellery, soaps, candles, wax melts, rag dolls, pyrography, upcycled furniture, and more.
