Felt Making Hats Workshop

About the event

Learn the traditional craft of felt making with Jacki Sleator as you block, shape and manipulate felt to create a contemporary headpiece in a style of your choice. Initially you will work with fine merino wool to make handmade felt then progress to create a 3D structure.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. You will be guided throughout by Jacki, an experienced feltmaker and teacher. All materials are supplied but a felting kit of simple pieces is required (details will be provided at time of booking).
